The Czech Republic stepped up a gear in the second half to end Denmark's run with a convincing 3-0 win.
The match didn't come to life until the second half when Koller used his height to head in from a corner kick in the 49th minute. Poborsky found Baros in the 63rd minute who coolly lifter the ball over Sörensen to double the Czech lead. Two minutes later Nedved sent Baros on his way to smash the ball into the roof of the net and give the Czechs an unassailable lead.
A strike by Madsen in the 72nd minute, which Cech saved, was all Denmark could offer, and the Czech Republic were easy winners.
